Table tennis

Since 2013, I've been competing in table tennis tournaments through the U.S. Paralympics.

Here's a look at some fun memories I've made over the years.

I'm realizing I should start bringing a photographer with me to tournaments, since all the photos I have of me playing are about a decade old.

These days I also coach table tennis to people with Parkinson's disease, using the sport as a form of rehabilitative therapy.

A few memories

A special memory from early in my table tennis journey: playing doubles with my pal, Will Shortz. When he's not working as crossword editor for The New York Times, there's a good chance Will's playing table tennis.

I had the honor of being Will's doubles partner for a tournament in 2013. It was a fun time.

Mixing up the serve

Table tennis players often vary whether they serve with their backhand or forehand. Gotta keep your opponent on their toes somehow ;)

I also played for Cornell's team during college. Go Big Red!
